[情报] PCIe Gen3/Gen4是否会造成RTX3080的瓶颈?

评测解禁后,很快也有RTX3080搭配Intel (10900K)和AMD (3900XT)的比较...
其实在之前多数游戏评测上都可以清楚知道,在这部分的应用,还是Intel略胜一筹,
所以这个交叉评测主要重点在于目前两家分别最高支援PCIe Gen 3和PCIe Gen 4,
到底会不会对于效能大跃进的RTX3080产生实际上的瓶颈与影响。
We already have a general idea of how the Ryzen 9 3900XT compares to the
i9-10900K when tested with a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti in its dedicated review of
the processor. However, one of the questions we're trying to answer is
whether PCIe Gen 4 helps the 3900XT gain on the i9-10900K. Our testing data
should also give you insights into whether the Ryzen 9 3900XT suits your
needs as a gaming and productivity machine combined, in which your line of
work can benefit from the extra two cores.
在这部分的测试,从评测结果可以得知PCIe Gen3/4几乎没影响,也就是说即使是RTX 3080,
也还无法撑到PCIe Gen 3的频宽上限...
After finishing the "normal at stock" testing, I got curious about how much
of the performance difference can be attributed to the PCI-Express link speed
advantage Ryzen has over the i9-10900K. Remember, Intel's Comet Lake CPUs
still max out at PCI-Express Gen 3. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 introduces
PCIe 4.0 support, so the assumption could be that Ampere will work better on
AMD CPUs than on Intel, because the former support the faster PCI-Express Gen
4 mode. That's what the second AMD data point is for, colored in light red.
However, we see only minor differences that average out to 1% vs. the Gen 4
results, no matter the resolution. Even the RTX 3080 isn't anywhere close to
saturating the PCI-Express Gen 3 interface so that Gen 4 could provide an
increase in performance.

我最近买过的AMD CPU也没一个有散热器QQ

pcie4.0目前最大的功用就是可以用x4给m.2这样消费平台也可以多装几根满血版的SSD了不然3.0x4给某些ssd跑会超过频宽
