after Game 2, Aaron Boone said. Luis Gil and Clarke Schmidt are both available
in relief.
(3) @BryanHoch: Trent Grisham has been working out in left field and could see
a start out there during this postseason, Aaron Boone said.
(4) @BryanHoch: Oswaldo Cabrera gets the start at 1B tonight. Aaron Boone said
he hopes Cabrera can spark the offense while playing solid defense. Ben Rice
and Jon Berti were also considered, and could see starts in future games.
(5) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone said it was a “fairly” easy call to start Alex
Verdugo in left field tonight. “It’s in there for him to do some things for
us.” He said that Jasson Dominguez remains in the mix to play a role in this
postseason.
