‧ Designated INF J.D. Davis for assignment.
(2) @BryanHoch: Giancarlo Stanton remains on track to return to the Yankees
lineup tomorrow in Philadelphia, Aaron Boone said.
(3) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone said that he is “a little reluctant” to try
Gleyber Torres at 3B, and Torres prefers to remain at 2B. Chisholm may become
their everyday 3B, though Boone said he sees DJ LeMahieu “remaining in the mix
at all the infield spots.”
(4) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone said he sees Jazz Chisholm Jr. hitting in the
middle of the order, since they are seeing good signs from Alex Verdugo &
Gleyber Torres at leadoff. Chisholm will soon begin working out at 3B, as will
Torres.
(5) @ktsharp: Aaron Judge is the 1st Yankee to reach base 6+ times in a game
since Didi Gregorius on July 23, 2019 vs Twins
(6) @ktsharp: Yankees starters have a 6.09 ERA since June 15, the worst in MLB.
