(1) @Yankees: The New York Yankees today announced that they have signed RHP
Lou Trivino to a one-year Major League contract for the 2024 season with a club
option for the 2025 season.
To make room on the 40-man roster, the Yankees have placed OF Jasson Domínguez
on the 60-day injured list (recovering from “Tommy John” reconstruction
surgery).

be available for the first couple of weeks of games, Aaron Boone said. Also
said Scott Effross underwent back surgery in December.

(2) @ChrisKirschner: Aaron Boone said Anthony Rizzo looks great. Been in Tampa

(3) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone raved about DJ LeMahieu's health today, saying
"he's just ore explosive to me." Look for the Yankees to bat LeMahieu leadoff,
ahead of Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.

The Yankees hope he’ll be swinging a bat by the end of Spring Training.

this is a one-year situation” before Soto will become a free agent.
“I don’t see too many things stopping him from reaching free agency.”

talks with Gleyber Torres, noting that he is their second baseman “for this
season.”
(3) @jonmorosi: Marcus Stroman is currently lined up to pitch the Yankees home
opener, against the Blue Jays on April 5.

expects to be ready for the beginning of the season. He’s lined up to pitch
one of the Mexico City games, but that will depend on how he’s bouncing back.
Also said Carlos Rodón touched 97 mph the other day; Rodón was around 92 last
spring.
