OF Tim Locastro to Triple-A SWB.
Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
‧ Placed RHP Michael King on the 60-day IL with a right elbow fracture.
‧ Recalled RHP Clarke Schmidt (#86) from Triple-A SWB.
‧ Signed RHP Shane Green (#61) to a Major League contract and selected him
to the 26-man roster from Triple-A SWB.

(2) @BryanHoch: Michael King’s elbow injury is season-ending, Aaron Boone
said. King was sent back to New York for an MRI/CT scan to determine if there
is ligament damage.
(3) @Joelsherman1: Michael King has a fracture in his right elbow, according to
sources. Devastating to him and the Yankees. He along with Holmes have been
the Yankee best relievers.

Both sides must determine if there's a match in terms of talent exchange
about Zack Britton
(7) @BryanHoch: He's plugging away down in Tampa. The Yanks are hopeful that
he could be back in September. Brian Cashman said that Britton isn't ready to
pitch in games yet.

(9) @BryanHoch: Because of Michael King's injury, Jameson Taillon said that
it was a "somber" Yankees clubhouse despite the win. Certainly felt that way
to me.
(10) @BryanHoch: Ron Marinaccio tossed a scoreless inning tonight for
Double-A Somerset, striking out the side. He could be back in the big league
bullpen on Sunday.
(11) @MaxTGoodman: Reminder that Luis Gil (Tommy John surgery) still hasn't
been placed on the 60-day injured list.
If Michael King is in fact out for the rest of the year, the #Yankees have
some flexibility when it comes to 40-man roster spots.
(12) @MaxTGoodman: It's hard to quantify just how big of a blow Michael King's
injury is to the #Yankees.
Feel for King, who was in the middle of an incredible season, distinguishing
himself as one of the best relievers in MLB. He should've made the All-Star
Game as well.
(13) @MaxTGoodman: Jameson Taillon had a 2.30 ERA on June 2nd after taking
a perfect game into the 8th against the Angels.
Since then, he's allowed 30 earned runs in 44.1 innings, raising his ERA on
the season to 3.93.
(14) @MaxTGoodman: Jasson Dominguez has officially been promoted
from Low-A Tampa to High-A Hudson Valley.
He'll wear #27 with the Hudson Valley Renegades.
