The Eagles are not inclined to trade their presumptive starting quarterback
Sam Bradford despite receiving a preliminary call from the Denver Broncos
this week.
Per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, the Broncos called the Eagles for a very
basic discussion about Bradford. No compensation was discussed, and the main
takeaway was that Philadelphia wants to hold on to the former No. 1 overall
pick. This, coming hours after an ESPN report that said the 49ers have not
had any internal discussions about acquiring Bradford.
The quarterback market is so hazy at the moment and teams are probably
waiting for the first shoe to drop. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Hoyer, Bradford,
Colin Kaepernick and Case Keenum are all major players for two spots
