The Taipei Times is looking for the following talented people:
1. News Reporter
Excellent command of both oral and written English and Chinese
College graduate
Experience in news-gathering preferred
Knowledge of Taiwan's political scene
2. Business Reporter
Excellent standard of both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
Motivated and dependableAble to work with individuals from various backgrounds
With an economics, finance, or business background
Experience a plus
3. Bilingual Section Copy Editor
Bachelor's degree or higher
Native speaker of English (some Mandarin preferred, but not required)
Computer literate
Have significant experience and interest in teaching English as a second
language
Be able to develop teaching material for a range of ages and skill levels
4. Translator － Full Time/ Part Time
Strong Chinese language skills and native or near native English ability
Experience in Chinese to English translation
Knowledge of Taiwan's political scene
Office-based position, shift 2pm to 9pm, 3pm to 10pm
