Wall played for the Washington Wizards from 2010-20 after being the franchise’s
No. 1 overall pick out of the University of Kentucky. For Wall, the idea to par
tner with Howard began on Jan. 31, when he served as the team’s honorary captai
n of the day and expressed to the school a desire to be a president of basketbal
l operations at the NBA level one day.

r mentorship.
