LeBron James makes striking comments on Jaylen Brown’s MVP case

LOS ANGELES — Jaylen Brown reminisced with LeBron James during All-Star break f
estivities last weekend. Playing on the same team with the future Hall of Famer,
Brown spoke about his first start in the NBA, facing James and the Cavaliers ba
ck on Nov. 3, 2016.

ealed James’ message from that night: “You’re going to be an All-Star one day

t moment during All-Star weekend.

understand why his name is not getting talked about. Nobody gave them a shot to

huge reason why the Celtics have surpassed every preseason expectation, playing
like an East contender.

where he believes he’s one of the best players in the league.

on it now.

wards. But Brown hasn’t picked up too much of the regular-season love throughou
t his career. The tune is starting to change for Brown amid a strong year leadin
g the Celtics near the top of the East.
