REPORT: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had successful surgery on his broken hip & his rec
overy time is three months.
Kareem on the incident: “I’d like to say I fell while trying to save a child
from plunging over the balcony, but I just tripped,” he posted Monday on his
Substack account. “Hard for me to accept that a once world-class athlete jus
t stumbled. But age is the great equalizer and humbles us all.”
