Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has started counseling and is exp
ected to remain sidelined via suspension for at least the next three weeks, le
ague sources said.

The NBA announced an indefinite suspension for Green on Dec. 13 for striking P
hoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurki in the face during a game one night earlier.
Joe Dumars, NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations, sa
id in a statement that Green’s “repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts” w
as a factor in the decision.

or his privacy.

rame would mean his suspension stretches approximately 12 games. The league al
so suspended Green for five games in November for his involvement in an alterc
ation against the Minnesota Timberwolves, when Green put Rudy Gobert in a head
lock.
