The NBA is enacting a hiring freeze until October, per @sopandeb, citing "econom
ic headwinds."
The league has halted hiring, cut travel and entertainment budgets, and instruct
ed staff to cancel offsite meetings/hold them virtually, according to a memo sen

The memo said the N.B.A. was “facing a very different economic reality than jus
