因为很长，我就撷取他讲NBA的部分。
On today’s NBA 现在的NBA
SI: LeBron’s now the all-time NBA scoring leader. Conversation over? Is he
the best player ever now?
记者问：LBJ现在是史上得分总数最高的球员，所以那些讨论结束了吗？他是迄今最棒
的球员吗？
CB: I don’t like that question because I think the best way to answer that
question is to say, “Is he the greatest player of this generation?” Because
I don't think it’s fair to Michael. ’Cause he was the greatest player of my
generation. Kareem was the greatest player of his generation. I mean, you
look at Magic and Bird. So, I don't know; it’s all perspective. I will say
this about LeBron. I think his story is the greatest story in sports history.
老巴：我不喜欢这种问题，因为我认为最好的方式陈述这个问题应该是，“LBJ是这个世
代最伟大的球员吗？”因为我认为你这样问对MJ来说不公平，因为MJ是我这个世代里最
伟大的球员。就像贾霸是他那个世代最伟大的球员一样，我的意思是，看一下魔术跟大
鸟他们。所以，我不知道怎么回答，端看你从哪方面来看。我会这样说LBJ，我认为他的
故事会是运动史里面最棒的。
SI: Why do you say that?
记者：为什么你会这样说呢？
CB: What I mean by that is, you look at other great players who went directly
from high school to the pros. Kobe Bryant struggled, Kevin Garnett struggled,
Tracy McGrady struggled, Dwight Howard struggled. LeBron is the only one who
had success from Day One. He was really good Day One. He’s obviously up here
now. But the most amazing thing about him, in this 24-hour news cycle,
cellphones, internet, he’s never gotten in trouble.
老巴：我会这样说是，你看看其他那些从高中直接跳进职业的球员，Kobe挣扎过，KG挣扎
过，T-Mac挣扎过，魔兽挣扎过。LBJ是唯一一个从第一天进来就是成功的，就是从第一天
开始就是这么棒，现在还是一样。但是，最让人惊艳的是，以现在这样快速的新闻传播，
手机，网络世代，他依旧从没陷入麻烦过。
SI: No scandal.
记者：他没有丑闻过。
CB: No scandal. To be, number one, ready at 18, to where he is 20 years
later, the greatest scorer in NBA history. I think it’s the greatest story
in sports history. For a guy to be that good from Day One and never screw up
is amazing.
老巴：完全没有！18岁就准备好成为第一人，而在20年后，成为了史上最棒的得分球员，
我认为这是运动史上最棒的故事，一个从第一天进入职业就是这样棒的球员，而从来没有
搞砸过，这真的很让人惊艳。
