Dwight Howard sends stern warning to rest of NBA amid Lakers’ recent struggles

To say that the Los Angeles Lakers have failed to live up to the lofty
expectations many had on them prior to the start of the season would be an
understatement. The 2020 NBA champs have struggled mightily through the first
quarter of the campaign and at this point, many believe that the Lakers
should begin worrying about what the rest of the season holds for them.

For his part, however, Lakers veteran Dwight Howard does not appear to be
overly concerned. The eight-time All-Star has been in this situation in the
past and Howard remains confident that his team has what it takes to turn
their season around:

“Yeah, we good man,” Howard told TMZ Sports. “Right now this season it’s
early. Everybody’s playing at a really high level right now. We expected
that. We expected everybody to come out and play their hardest against us.
With that being said, we’re gonna be ready by the time the playoffs start.
That’s when we start dominating.
