Veteran point guard Isaiah Thomas believes he has a lot to offer an NBA team.

Thomas began the season with the Washington Wizards, was traded to the Los
Angeles Clippers and then got waived by LA.
Thomas开季时还待在华盛顿巫师，后来被交易到快艇，最后被这支洛杉矶球队裁掉。
Isaiah Thomas averaged 12.2 points and 3.7 assists with the Wizards. He’s no
longer a superstar in the NBA, but Thomas can still come off the bench and
score 15 to 20 points easily while running a second unit.

Thomas spoke to Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype recently about what he feels he
can bring to a team:

“Everything that I’ve always brought to a team. I’m a leader, first and
foremost. I won the NBA’s Community Assist award so, off the court, I help
in the community,” Isaiah Thomas told Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype.

“On the court, I think it’s self-explanatory what I bring to a team when
given an opportunity. I also bring my wisdom. I don’t think anybody has been
through the things that I’ve gone through in this league. Despite obstacle
after obstacle, I’ve overcome everything that’s been thrown at me and taken
advantage of any opportunity that I’ve gotten. I think that’s what is most
important.
“在场上的话，当我有机会时，我能带给球队什么应该不用多说。我也能把我的智慧带给
球队。我不认为联盟中有人经历过我所遭遇到的这些事情。尽管遇到层层阻碍，我也已经
克服了这些困难，并且好好利用我所得到的机会。我想这才是最重要的。”
“I think I can help in whatever situation I end up in,” Thomas added. “
Ideally, I’d love to be part of a championship-contending team – a playoff
team – because I know that I can still contribute and help win playoff
games, if need be. That’s in my DNA. The biggest thing is just trying to
figure out the best opportunity for me and staying ready. Understand that any
opportunity that’s given to me, I’ll be ready for it. And I think everybody
knows that.”
