The Golden State Warriors have seen the other side of the coin after a steady
climb in the early 2010s and five years of chasing the NBA title. The Los
Angeles Clippers were the start of that coin flip, handing them a sizable
loss in their first game at the state-of-the-art Chase Center.

bit of trash talking during a 141-122 beatdown to start the season:

Beverley has been known to trash talk just about everyone in the league, but
the Clippers guard had previously claimed there’s one person he keeps his
mouth shut for:

It seems Beverley has broken that vow, considering the two-time MVP now no
longer has the supporting cast that could punish opponents as ferociously as
it has over the past half-decade.

Still, it’s tough to fathom Beverley having a five-year reign, with Kawhi
Leonard and Paul George only secured for two seasons before they can opt out
of their contracts. Beverley and others have been champing at the bit to
embarrass the Warriors, and it seems that under the current construction of
their young roster, opponents will get the pleasure to do so a few more times
this season.
不过，以目前状况还是很难想像Beverley会有五年的好时光，毕竟Kawhi Leonard跟Paul
