Today Portland Trail Blazers head Coach Terry Stotts was asked to comment on t
he ongoing controversy following a team practice. Portland’s KGW News posted
the video.

I do think that [NBA Commissioner] Adam Silver had a tightrope to walk and I t
hought he did an excellent job in managing the situation. Other than that, as
an American, I believe in free speech and democracy. It’s kind of what we sta
nd for.

I think players, every American has the right to free speech. Whether it conti
nues on different topics...you know there are a lot of difficult topics in the
world. Syria is a difficult topic. Ukraine is a difficult topic. There are a
lot of world issues that maybe a lot of people aren’t well-enough versed to c
omment on.
我认为球员、每一位美国人都有言论自由的权利，不论谈论的是什么话题，世界上有非常
多困难的话题。叙利亚是个困难的话题、乌克兰是个困难的话题。有很多的世界问题也许
很多人不够熟知而无法去评论。

美国人聚焦的点一直在言论自由被迫害 而不是被迫害的内容 RMBron显然搞错了重点
这答案中共接不接受根本不重要 中共根本不在意这个，这事件的风向谈言论自由更像是自己人对自己人喊言论自由而不是对立中共要就支持Morey，不清楚也行就说言论自由没人会逼，自我思想审查就很奇怪，审查也是私下审查，不是台面上检讨别人停播拓荒干嘛 又没理由
