For all the attention Drake received in the buildup to the NBA Finals, you
just knew that he would have something in store for the Raptors’ first
Finals appearance.
And, oh man, he didn’t disappoint.
Just hours after it was learned that the NBA warned Drake about his courtside
antics, he arrived for Thursday’s game at Scotiabank Arena with an excellent
jab at Steph Curry.
He rolled up to the arena wearing a signed Dell Curry Toronto Raptors jersey.
That is next-level stuff right there, Drake. (He also may have covered up his
Durant and Curry Warriors tattoos with a sweatband).
Now, it’s important to point out that Steph and Drake are friends. Drake —
who, again, has a Steph Curry tattoo — has invited the Warriors to play
basketball at his house. The Dell Curry jersey seems to be all in good fun,
and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Judging from the jersey alone, Game 1 should be a blast.
