Hunter Atkins of the Houston Chronicle believes that the Rockets could be in
the mix for Markieff Morris.
Rockets GM Daryl Morey did say that his team would be active in the buyout
market, especially after striking gold with Kenneth Faried and Austin Rivers.
"We're having multiple conversations," Morey said. "We have a couple players
at the top of the list. Until they clear waivers, it's not something — we
can't really talk to them." Morris wouldn't unseat P.J. Tucker as the starter
if the Rockets pick him up, but he would be a valuable addition to their
second unit.
