Jalen Rose says Lonzo Ball 'doesn't fit with' Los Angeles Lakers' dynamic

ESPN analyst Jalen Rose said Friday that second-year point guard Lonzo Ball
"doesn't fit with the current dynamic" of the Los Angeles Lakers now that
LeBron James has come on board.

来到湖人后的球队动力。
Ball saw limited action in the team's regular-season opener on Thursday, as
he's easing back into playing shape after sitting out most of the offseason
to recover from knee surgery.
Ball在星期四的开幕战没有太多的上场，也让他在动膝盖手术休息了几乎整休赛季后慢慢
的恢复成可以打球的状态。
The Lakers lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 128-119 in James' first game,
and Ball backed up veteran Rajon Rondo off the bench. Ball played just 19
minutes, scoring seven points on 2-for-7 shooting from the floor. Before
that, Ball had played briefly in two preseason games.
湖人的开幕战以128-119输给了阿拓，Ball是替老将Rajon Rondo当替补上场，打了19分

"My biggest concern for the Lakers, and they're going have to figure out a
way to rectify this, is Lonzo Ball," Rose said on ESPN's Get Up! show. "I
just don’t see a dynamic for their No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball, in his
second year, to actually play quality minutes and continue to progress.
“我最担心湖人的部份，也是他们得要找出方式来处理的，就是Lonzo Ball，”Rose在
ESPN的节目上说到。“我没有看到他们对这位选秀榜眼二年级生有足够的动能，让他可以

"I know he’s returning from injury, but when you look at it, LeBron’s going
to be the primary ball-handler. Rajon Rondo is going to also do that. Josh
Hart is a better shooter. ... So Lonzo Ball, it’s going to be tough to get
him quality minutes on a team that struggles to have size up front."

Turner Sports analyst Charles Barkley went in the other direction, saying on
the TNT halftime show Thursday that the Lakers need to invest in the future
and play Ball because Rondo is 32 and not aiming to be a player-coach.

Lakers coach Luke Walton has said publicly that he's not concerned about Ball
and Rondo playing together or sharing minutes because they are both
team-oriented.

Last season, Ball averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 assists and 6.9 rebounds in 34
minutes a game, but he was widely criticized for shooting just 31 percent
from the three-point line. On Thursday against Portland, he connected on one
three-pointer from way beyond the arc — a deep ball off an assist from
James.
