After a preseason in which neither played a prominent role for the Atlanta
Hawks, all signs pointed to both Thomas Robinson and R.J. Hunter being waived
by an organization that already employs 15 players on guaranteed contracts
and two players (Jaylen Adams and Alex Poythress) on two-way deals. On
Saturday morning, that became official, as the Hawks announced that Robinson,
Hunter and C.J. Anderson were officially waived.
