The New York Knicks are hoping to make a big splash in 2019, and center Enes
Kanter is already starting his recruitment of Golden State Warriors star
Kevin Durant, who played with the Turkish big man on the Oklahoma City
Thunder.
尼克希望在2019球季大放异彩，而当中的中锋Kanter已经开始准备招募他在雷霆的老队友
KD了。
Kanter was on SiriusXM Radio talking about the desire to get KD to The Big
Apple, per Marc Berman of the New York Post.
在采访过程中Kanter对媒体表示他希望帮大苹果争取到KD的加盟。
“I’ve been hard on him the last two years,” Kanter said on Sirius XM
Radio. “As soon as I learned he’s becoming a free agent, he’s my best
friend. I can’t say enough of the guy. He’s the best scorer to ever play
the game. Who wouldn’t want KD to wear a New York uniform?
“这两年多以来我都在当反杜大将军，但当我意识到他即将成为自由球员时，他就是我最
好的朋友。关于他我说多少都不够，他是我见过最好的得分手，谁不想看到KD穿着尼克的

“We are New York. He’s a free agent. We need to use that. We are the best
city in the world. That could draw a lot of attention for free agents. I
would love for him to be my teammate again. When he was my teammate [in OKC],
he was an amazing teammate, amazing character, scorer and basketball player
on court and off the court, too. I would love to see him be my teammate again.

Kanter has been critical of Durant for leaving the Thunder for the mighty
Warriors, but the big man would obviously welcome the two-time NBA Finals MVP
with open arms. Kanter added that going to New York and winning there would
help Durant’s legacy.

“It is New York,” Kanter said. “If you are with New York, you’re King of

The Knicks are set to have a ton of cap space next summer, giving them an
opportunity for Durant if he has a wandering eye. Durant’s manager, Rich
Kleiman, is a New Yorker and a die-hard Knicks fan, which could help New York
’s chances.

Kanter is a free agent himself, though, and it’s unclear if New York wants
him for the long haul. But either way, Kanter will try to convince Durant to
join the Knicks, and more official overtures will begin after the 2018-19
season.
不过，Kanter自己届时也是位自由球员，那时候他还在不在纽约还是未知数。尽管如此，
