身为雷纳德（Kawhi Leonard）和德罗展（DeMar DeRozan）交易案中的筹码，格林（Dann
y Green）将离开效力8个赛季且期间一起赢得1座总冠军的圣安东尼奥。
格林得知消息后也透过个人instagram发文感谢马刺球迷这些年的支持，“圣安东尼奥的
人们，实在没办法表达我对你们的爱，这座城市、这群球迷还有这支球队。我要感谢你们
所有人，给了我这个机会在过去好几年时间，成为这美好成就一部分，有太多太多回忆将
永远跟随着我。”
格林续道：“不论是再怎么起起伏伏，你们都让我觉得自己是特别的。我想感谢教练还有
总管，你们是第一个相信我且给我机会的人，我也要谢谢队友，你们一直鼓励我，我们一
起度过许多战役，当然还有乐意接纳我的当地球迷，你们让这里有了家的感觉。”
马刺总教练波波维奇（Gregg Popovich）对交易格林的决定则表示：“我们都会想念他的
，他效力了这支球队多年，不论是场上、场下都代表了我们这支球队的精神，他会这座城
市付出很多，我们肯定都会很怀念他的。”
