OAKLAND – Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr was asked Tuesday if there’s any chanc
e Stephen Curry would play this weekend if the Warriors advance to the Western
Conference Semifinals against New Orleans.
“Just day-to-day,” Kerr said. “We’re just taking it day-by-day. We’re loc
ked in on tonight, obviously. And Steph has been coming湶nto濳he gym every day
working. He’s doing his thing and we’re doing ours. We’re just hoping for
the best, but not making any predictions.”
Curry has been sidelined since March 23 after sustaining a Grade 2 MCL sprain
in his left knee. He was cleared to start participating in modified team pract
ices last Friday.
Curry will be re-evaluated this Friday. The Western Conference Semifinals coul
d begin as early as Saturday.
Curry, a two-time MVP, averaged 26.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists over
51 games this season.
