Kevin Durant jokes about being safe from a trade: “I hope so”

OAKLAND – A reporter asked Kevin Durant about trade rumors at Wednesday’s
shoot around, joking that the she heard he was safe.

Durant, an eight-time All-Star who won the MVP award in 2014 and helped the
Warriors win the NBA championship last season, couldn’t help but laugh out
loud.

Durant said potential trades haven’t really been a topic around the locker
room for the defending champions, who are at the top of the Western
