Mavericks guard Devin Harris' brother, Bruce, dies in car crash in Dallas
Bruce Harris, brother of Mavericks guard Devin Harris, died Thursday
afternoon as a result of injuries suffered in an early morning car crash on a
Dallas expressway, according to The Dallas Morning News.
A car driven by a 23-year-old male and a passenger of the same age struck a
disabled vehicle containing Bruce Harris, 38, and a 36-year-old passenger
around 1:40 a.m. on the Central Expressway near the Dallas neighborhood of
Walnut Hill, rupturing the gas tank and setting the vehicle ablaze, the
report said. Bruce Harris was pronounced dead almost 11 hours later at
Presbyterian Hospital.
