According to the NBA's Last Two Minute Report, which assesses officiated
events that occurred in the last two minutes of games within five points at
the two-minute mark, the league determined that James should've been called
for a travel with 1:14 remaining. That was a few seconds before his go-ahead
dagger.

On the play, James had established his left foot as his pivot foot. Working
around a screen to get a switch, the league said there was clear and
conclusive video evidence that James moved his pivot foot at the start of the
dribble.

The only other officiating error came with 4.6 seconds remaining, as Pacers
star Paul George should've been called for a travel before his last-second

the triple try so that missed call by the officials was relatively innocuous
in comparison.
