Blazers center Festus Ezeli to undergo knee surgery
PORTLAND, Ore. – Trail Blazers center Festus Ezeli is expected to undergo
surgery next week on his left knee, it was announced today by president of
basketball operations Neil Olshey.
While the exact surgery date is pending, it will be performed by Dr. Robert
LaPrade at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Ezeli will be out for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.

今年赛季已经确定是报销了，预计由Robert LaPrade医师执刀
另外根据ESPN的相关报导指出，本次手术过程中将使用到遗体的器官捐赠(cadaver donor)
再加上Ezeli的身材相当壮硕，拥有6呎11吋的身高
因此要找寻合适的捐赠者并不容易，花费了数个月的时间才终于找到
恢复期可能要长达一年的时间
过去似乎没有NBA的球员经历过这种非常规的手术
而NFL红雀队四分卫Carson Palmer就透过这个手术从韧带撕裂(ACL+MCL)的大伤中重新复出
37岁的他至今仍活跃在美式足球的赛场上
Festus Ezeli 在去年休季期间与拓荒者签下两年15.2M的合约
后来因伤缺席季前训练营和热身赛，最后甚至连例行赛都完全不能上场
先前还在勇士队时期，Ezeli两脚的膝盖都曾经有开过刀的纪录
