但本届欧锦赛的预赛Ｂ组，刚好在德国首都柏林举行
也促成了他最后一次身披国家队球衣参赛。
"I had said it before the tournament, if the tournament was anywhere else I
would not be there," he said.
"But since it was here in Germany and the fans have supported me for so long,
my entire career, this was sort of a 'thank you' to them, for me to come and
play one more time.
虽然本届欧锦赛，司机成为欧锦赛史上得分第二位（1052分）
但Ｂ组列强环伺，德国第一场先胜冰岛之后，苦吞四连败遭淘汰。
