Rockets will sign Dexter Pittman, per source. Will waive Greg Smith. Smith has
unable to come back from knee injury, has missed most of the seaaon. He was
not with the Rockets on the road trip. Rockets signing Pittman for rest of
this season and next with next season non-guaranteed, source said. Pittman
was averaging 11.3 points and 6.8 rebounds for the Austin Toros. He will be
eligible for the Rockets' playoff roster.
