Chris Bosh Has Some Awkward Olympic Comparisons for LeBron and Wade
Chris Bosh将LeBron和Wade和冬季奥运做了怪异的联想
Any defender who has had the misfortune of standing in the lane when LeBron
James is driving to the hoop would never, ever compare him to a figure skater(
注一). At 6'8" and 250 pounds of muscle, James surely looks more like a
linebacker(注二) racing to stuff a goal-line(注三) rush, but Miami Heat
teammate Chris Bosh sees him in a different light.
任何一个不幸被LeBron在头上灌篮的防守者永远不会把他联想成一个花式溜冰选手。身高
六呎八吋、250磅，LeBron当然看起来更像一位全力阻挡对手达阵的线卫。但是热火队友

Ira Winderman of the South Florida SunSentinel caught up with Bosh and spoke
to him about the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Delightfully, the quirky center had some eye-opening comparisons for his Big Three teammates.

Bosh said he could envision LeBron as a figure skater because of his
creativity and Wade, "he's short, so he could do that speed skating."

Truth be told, he could probably succeed at any athletic endeavor he put his
mind to, and seeing James in pairs figure skating twirling around a 100-pound
female with ease would be very entertaining.

On Dwyane Wade, Bosh stated: "He's short, so he could do that speed skating."
It's not clear why being short would help in that sport. American speed
skater Shani Davis has two gold and two silver medals from the last two
Olympics Games, and he is 6'2".
至于Wade，Bosh表示因为他矮，所以他可以竞速滑冰。不知道为什么矮有利于参加这个运

Then again, the 6'11" Bosh considers 6'2" to be short, so I guess he's right
on the money. Wade is 6'4". I can easily imagine Wade on skates and
encased in a U.S. unitard(注四) to reduce wind resistance. That makes sense.
六呎十一吋的Bosh觉得六呎二吋很矮，所以我猜他也没错。Wade六呎四吋，我可以想像

Asked by Winderman what his favorite event was, Bosh answered: "When they
jump off the slope and go long and then they land." I think he means ski
jumping(注五), but that's pretty much what happens in a bunch of events.

Now we just sit back and await Bosh's projected Olympic events for the likes

snowboarding halfpipe?) and Erik Spoelstra (ice dancing?).

是一项于跳台上的冬季运动项目。它要求运动员借助速度和弹跳力沿跳台下滑，使身体跃
入空中，运动员会于空中飞行一段时间后，落在地上。裁判会按照距离和姿势作出评分。

钢架雪车规定只能以俯卧式进行，选手的肚子贴在雪车上的姿势才被允许。中途允许掉落

冰壶是一项队制的冬季奥林匹克运动会项目，冰壶所有的“壶”称为“石壶”，运动员需
要把对方的“石壶”击走，并把己队的“石壶”留在比赛场地的圆心中。
