RUMOR:
Andrew Bynum and the Miami Heat have shown mutual interest in one another.
Bynum, recently suspended from basketball activities by the Cleveland
Cavaliers, has played fairly impressive this season off of a season ending
injury last year. However, it's clear that he's still hurt.
The 7 - footer would provide a much needed defensive presence for the Heat
while Greg Oden makes his way back into playing shape. The only issue is that
the Cavaliers recently suspended Bynum for "lack of interest for basketball."
They were even quoted for saying, "He never even wanted to play basketball in
the first place." and that, "He didn't put in any effort in rehab."
While this is a concern, it's hard to judge him since he's been in two non
play-off teams in the past two years. Maybe playing with a contender is
exactly what he needs.
In the past, Pat Riley has shown tremendous interest in reliable centers.
Andrew Bynum used to be one of the best when he used to play with the Lakers.
I say, we should give him a look.
All he needs is a little motivation, and he'll get it going. What better
motivation than playing with the Big 3 in Miami?
