这回，Trey Burke 在 NCAA 顶尖联盟中爆炸性的表现不只是球迷注意到了，NBA 各队也
都看在眼里。不到一年的时间，当年那个排名控球后卫第 26 名的小伙子，一路攀升进入
了 NBA 2012 选秀可能区。
Michigan 在 NCAA 锦标赛失利后，应接不暇的问题接踵而来，但这时的 Trey 选择闪躲
。
“I’m not really thinking about [the NBA draft]. I’m so disappointed in the
way we lost, it’s not really in my mind right now. If it comes, it comes. You
’ve just got to move on, man. It definitely hurts. The only thing on my mind
is losing that game.”

有 NBA 球员的大学球队，这又何尝不是一个进步的象征？
另一方面，季外新生的招募也正如火如荼地进行，总教练 John Beilein 迎来 Mitch
McGary、Glenn Robinson III，填补了 Michigan 最需要、也是 Beilein 进攻体系十分
倚赖的锋线缺口。但是这时的 Trey，那个永远追求挑战的斗魂，看见了自小就朝思暮想

Three weeks after the first match-up it was Burke’s time to shine as No. 6
Ohio State visited Michigan. The Wolverines controlled the game from the
outset en route to a 56-51 victory — a split in the regular-season series
that proved to be very valuable as the end of the conference season drew
near. Burke finished the game with 17 points and five assists, including four
points in the final 90 seconds to keep Michigan comfortably ahead. It was a
signature win on the biggest stage of the season, and one that kept Michigan
in the hunt for a share of the conference title. It was also abundantly clear
whose team it was: Trey Burke’s.

Michigan 一路领先以 56-51 取胜，随着联盟赛即将到来，拿下价值连城的例行赛对战
胜利。Burke 砍下17分、递出5助攻，其中包含比赛最后的90内的4分保持 Michigan 的安
全分差。这是本季非常重要的一场胜利，确保了 Michigan 对联盟冠军的竞争力，也充分
地展现了这是一支“Try Burke 的球队”。
是的，NBA 球探们这次是真的注意到他了，说 Trey 是一个吸引人的新秀，绝对是乐透区
的人选，可惜还有但书，“如果他再高三吋的话”。即便如此，这依然是 Michigan 球迷
抖得要死的三个礼拜。一堆 “Trey 又得到某某建议”的谣言满天飞，球迷只能在讨论区
取暖，试图找出如果 Trey 真的弃学后的球队走向。
众说纷纭的乱象在四月初突然因为一张照片停了下来，一张 Trey 宿舍房间的照片，所有
东西都已经打包好装进一个又一个的黑色袋子中。他就要走了，Michigan 球迷又被丢下
了，每次都在球队好像要飞天的时候，厄运又再度降临。

而这场惊魂结束得跟开始得一样快。四天后，Trey 宣布留校。
终日乾乾
随着留不留校的问题过去，Trey 接下来要面对的是更重大的难题：在大爆发的大一球季
之后，他是否能够再进步？天空是他的极限，但坠落令人害怕，他知道还有很多缺失需要
他自己克服。投射干旱算是好解决，不断地练投就对了；那个因为身材因素而令人折腾的
Pick & Roll 才是难处。
防守方为了降低 Pick & Roll 速度以及阻挡他破坏禁区所端出的策略，就是他必须努力
去破解的难题。参加完暑假 Chicago 技巧训练营 的 Trey 也对这点侃侃而谈：
"I had to learn how to read the way teams were guarding me and then adjust to
score and get my teammates involved. I had to get in the film room and learn
all the reads off pick-and-rolls and it has really paid off for me.”
“我必须要学会阅读对方的针对防守、据此调整得分手段以及带起队友参与进来。我必须
在影片室里学会阅读所有针对 Pick & Roll 的防守，而这真的让我获益良多。”

Trey 了解这支球队将会交到他手上。而过去一年他都是 Michigan 的进攻核心，人人都
有他的整整一年影片可以研究，再也没有打对方措手不及的机会了。同一个孩子，一年以
前甚至在同一个 Big Ten 的中等球队还不保证先发，摇身一变成了 NCAA 的风云人物，
引领着球队在一年后以 top-five 的地位展开大二的崭新球季。
