The Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States
(TECRO) has requested to buy an expansion of
the Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement
for stock replenishment supply of nonstandard spare parts,
consumables, and accessories, and repair and replacement support for the
F-16, C-130, Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF),
and all other aircraft and systems
or subsystems of U.S. origin, as well as other related elements of
logistics and program support. The estimated total cost is $98 million.

台湾可没办法100%自制战机，就算是IDF也是要和美国买零件
同样天弓飞弹也一样，美国出售飞弹零件的新闻稿，
常常出现‘爱国者,天弓二型’这样的叙述...
天弓二的零件也是要跟美国买...
如果你坚持一定要自制战机，那还不如走F-5E中正号的模式，
把现有战机的产线转移到台湾
可能吗？当然目前有难度，选择也不多
2023年国防展洛马倒是有展示出F-21的模型。

当时洛马为了印度这个大订单同意在印度建立生产线
另外一个原因也是因为洛马要关掉美国本土的F-16产线
那时候大家都吓坏了，还以为以后都要跟印度买零件，
还好洛马发布新闻稿，F-21只给授权印度使用，不能外销
洛马还是会持续提供F-16后勤能力

之后印度很不意外外购战机案又印度了
