Man Utd were abysmal in their last Champions League group game vs Valencia as
Fred, Romelu Lukaku and Phil Jones performed poorly.
Sergio Romero - 5 (好久不见!
Unsighted for Carlos Soler's opener but could maybe have been more alert once
Phil Jones' clearance did not make it out of the area.
Antonio Valencia - 5
Cautioned early on and was whistled but that did not deter him from
attempting to engineer attacks. One of the few proactive players.
Eric Bailly - 4
His clumsy collision into goalkeeper Jaume Domenech may enhance his cult
status but failed to bring order to the United defence.
Phil Jones - 3 (那OG我笑了
Despaired at the haphazard defending around him but gifted Soler the ball to
beat Romero on 17 minutes and then scored the fourth own goal of his United
career.
Marcos Rojo - 2 (XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
It is difficult to think of a worse United left-back in living memory. Just
as well he hardly plays there. This was Rojo's first start at left-back since
the 2017 League Cup final and it showed.
Marouane Fellaini - 4 (可见上一场对年轻人的绝杀有多么重要啊!!!!!!!!!!
Played at the base of the midfield but barely offered any protection and
failed to cover Rojo in the move that led to Soler's goal.
Paul Pogba - 5
Was playing decently up until that glaring 38th minute miss that is endemic
of Pogba; he spontaneously switches his brain off.
Fred - 3 (到底是他的传球差还是接球的跑位差啊......
Constantly made bad decisions and failed to bring any thrust from midfield.
Remarkably lax for a ￡52million reserve. Didn't last an hour.
Juan Mata - 5
Tried to make things happen but, as Romelu Lukaku's foil, was never bound to
have much joy.
Andreas Pereira - 4
Switched from midfielder to attacker but barely offered anything in attack.
Predictable on the ball and ineffectual.
Romelu Lukaku - 3
His heavy first touch denied United an early goalscoring chance and things
did not improve for Lukaku, who may have played his way out of the Liverpool
side.
