Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba brilliant
Man Utd players Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba were among those who impressed
in the 2-0 win vs Everton.
David de Gea - 6
A virtual passenger at times. Distribution not always up to its usual
standards but clean sheet is a welcome start to 2018.
Victor Lindelof - 6
Back at right-back following Ashley Young's suspension. Had his hands full
with Yannick Bolasie and Aaron Lennon but did OK.
Phil Jones - 7
Looked aghast at some of his team-mates' defending at times in first-half.
Vocal. Some trademark headed clearances to boot.
Marcos Rojo - 7
Seems to have put Burnley firmly behind him. One brilliant last-ditch tackle
on Niasse prevented a certain goal.
Luke Shaw - 6
Got forward to support Martial but Rojo was often dragged out of position to
cover him. One crucial clearance late on.
Nemanja Matic - 5 (Tired. 真的是要操到挂...QQ
A New Year and another 90 minutes. Little movement in front of him when he
had ball and often went backwards. Tired.
Ander Herrera - 6
First start in four games and occasionally lacked composure on the ball. Got
better as game went on, though.
Paul Pogba - 8
Skipper for the fourth consecutive game and revelled in role further forward.
Key role in goals. Masterful.
Juan Mata - 7
Really stepped up in the second-half. Struck the post with a sumptuous
effort. Been a memorable festive period.
Jesse Lingard - 7
Prefers playing through the middle and constantly created space for others
with off the ball running. Fantastic goal.
Anthony Martial - 7
A rare run out as the lone frontman and loves playing against Everton.
Offered a more mobile outlet and took his goal brilliantly.
Substitutes:
Marcus Rashford (77') - 6
Lively
Daley Blind (86') - 6
