Kept capably and saved superbly from Leroy Sane before he was finally beaten
by David Silva towards the end of the first-half. Kept United in it by
denying Kevin de Bruyne.
Antonio Valencia - 6
Exposed too often against Sane and Raheem Sterling, which meant he was never
likely to get forward as often as United would have liked.
Chris Smalling - 6
Hardly the most serene display amid intense circumstances but defended
stoutly and was often on the referee's case.
Marcos Rojo - 6
Made a crucial block in the first-half but his diagonal balls were aimless
and played into City's hands until Fabian Delph botched one to gift Marcus
Rashford a goal.
Ashley Young - 5
Like Rojo, he executed a crucial interception but gifted Sane a chance and
was uncharacteristically careless with the ball at times.
Ander Herrera - 5 (如果判点球就好了....
Needed to get tighter to De Bruyne but shadowed him at best. Urgent from the
start without having much of an impact at either end. Booked for diving.
Nemanja Matic - 5 (我觉得有点低 昨天靠他救了好多球吧
Tried to control United's poor pressing but often found himself overwhelmed
as Gabriel Jesus dropped off to supplement De Bruyne and Silva.
Jesse Lingard - 4
Pressed eagerly but let go of Silva for the opener and his positioning as the
No.10 reiterated how unsuitable he is for that specific role.
Marcus Rashford - 6
Salvaged an impotent first-half with a coolly taken equaliser to restore
belief among United fans.
Anthony Martial - 5
Anonymous on the right and almost immediately had United's first shot at goal
when he moved to the left. Should not start on the right.
Romelu Lukaku - 2 (笑了 XD 真的废到笑 XD
Culpable for both goals. His clearance for Nicolas Otamendi's strike was poor
and his touch was almost as poor as his composure. Should have equalised.
