The Chicago Cubs and Kyle Tucker compromise and reach an agreement on a
1-year, $16.5 million deal, avoiding arbitration on the eve of their Cubs
convention.
Tucker had originally filed for $17.5 million with the Cubs at $15 million,
the largest gap among arbitration filings.
