The Royals announced the signing of reliever Trevor Rosenthal to a one-year
Minor League deal on Saturday. The contract will guarantee the 29-year-old
right-hander $2 million in the Majors next season and includes $2.25 million
in performance bonuses, a source told MLB.com. The club has not confirmed the
value of the deal.
A 2015 All-Star who has racked up 121 career saves since debuting in 2012,
Rosenthal returned with a 13.50 ERA for Detroit and Washington last season
