The Milwaukee Brewers were the team that won the waiver claim on Yasiel Puig
and they legitimately discussed a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Brewers included Ryan Braun in the conversations with the Dodgers for
Puig.
The Dodgers also pursued Braun before the non-waiver deadline.
While Puig was demoted in August, the Dodgers only intended to trade him in a
package for a better player.
