Tyler Chatwood needs Tommy John elbow surgery.
Chatwood was placed on the disabled list at the end of April with a right
elbow strain and didn't make very much progress in his attempt at rehabbing
the injury. The 24-year-old right-hander is done for the remainder of the
2014 season and will miss a large majority of 2015. He had a promising 3.15
ERA in 20 starts for Colorado last year. Jul 17 - 2:28 PM
