The Rangers and Elvis Andrus have agreed to an eight-year, $120MM extension
that will bring the 24-year-old shortstop's guarantee to $131.275MM over the
next ten seasons, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. MLB.com's T.R.
Sullivan writes that the contract will likely out contain out clauses that
will allow Andrus to hit the open market sooner. Andrus is represented by the
Boras Corporation.
