Royals To Acquire James Shields, Wade Davis
The Royals have bolstered their starting rotation for 2013 thanks to the
addition of two quality pitchers. Kansas City has agreed to acquire James
Shields and Wade Davis from Tampa Bay in exchange for Wil Myers and a series
of prospects, reports Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. The
deal may not be complete as additional players could end up in the final
exchange between the two teams, suggests Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com
