Rangers attempting to trade for Andrew Bailey
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Rangers are attempting to trade
for A's closer Andrew Bailey.
The Rangers also pursued Bailey around the July non-waiver trade deadline but
were unable to work out a deal. The 27-year-old right-hander posted a 3.24
ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 24 saves in 41 1/3 innings this past year at the back end
of the Oakland 'pen. He'd probably like to continue serving as a closer, but
Texas has already handed that job to Joe Nathan. Bailey is eligible for
arbitration this winter for the first time in his career.

另外大猫有意今年成为FA的 Coco Crisp
According to Danny Knobler of CBS Sports, the Tigers are interested in free
agent outfielder Coco Crisp.
Crisp batted just .264/.314/.379 in 136 games this year for Detroit, but he
led the American League in steals and the Tigers are known to want an influx
of speed. The 33-year-old outfielder is said to prefer the West Coast, but
he'll likely chase the richest contract he can find.
