最近碰到一个问题，就是该怎么在 Mac 版中的 Word，为日文标注假名？
当然可以直接开 Pages 用他的音标文字功能：

不过如果要用 Word 操作还是会遇到这问题。所以一开始当然是先百事问 Google，找到很多不可行的方法：

## 东亚语言接口不支援东亚语言设定选项
大致上都是要启用东亚语言功能，然后将语言改成支援日文。可是会发现，怎么在中文版接口都找不到？
在微软的教学支援里面，他只会告诉你要去开起来：

但是很显然的，在中文接口底下的并不支援，通常我们开起来会是长这个样子：

后来实际试了一下，不是找不到，而是“偏好语言”的问题。通常我们会将 macOS 语系设定成惯用语系，例如通常在台湾的大家，就是设定成“繁体中文 ( 台湾 ) ”。但是，这个“East Asian Languages”是不会出现在我们的偏好语言中，他只会出现英语语系当中。所以才会所有相关文章，都是英文接口说明。
为什么呢？因为他们假设在偏好语言为东亚语言的，例如日文、繁简中文，他们会认定东亚语言功能已经支援啦：

里面的一位应该是官方人员 James Yan MSFT 的回复，摘录如下：
> If we have set the primary language to Chinese Simplified on Mac, it is expected that there is no "East Asian Languages" preference in Microsoft Word.
>
> "East Asian Languages" preference gives us language-specific editing features in Word menus and ribbon tabs such as phonetic guide, combined characters. If we have already set the language in Word to Chinese Simplified, those features are already supported, there is no need to change the language in "East Asian Languages" preference, so there is no need to add "East Asian Languages" preference in Chinese version of Word.
那我们该怎做呢？就是先把 macOS 的偏好语言设定成“非东亚语言”，那通常就是英文啦！
## 解决方法就是调整成非东亚语言来使用
### 第一步：先将 macOS 偏好语言调整成英文
＜下列步骤以 macOS Mojave 10.14.5 进行操作＞
先开启系统偏好设定，这可在 Dock 或者启动台找到：

点选语言与地区：

点选“+”新增偏好的语言：

选择“English”后点选加入：

接着他会问你是不是要将“英文”作为主要语言，点选是“使用“英文””：

离开时，他就会你要不要重启电脑，当然不用立即重新开机，只是要重新开机才会生效。

### 第二步：在英文版中的 MS Word 中设定 East Asian Languages
重新开启后，再次开启 Word，他会告诉你编辑语言已经变更，可以直接点掉就好：

接着点选右上角的 Word -> Preferences：

就会看到在 Word Preferences 里面出现 East Asian Languages：

点击它后会跳出一个小视窗，点选 Select a language 这行字下方的下拉选单：

在选单中选择 Japanese：

选完后，他会提示你需要重新启动 Word 来变更设定：

### 第三部：就像那些教学一样开始注音标示文字
接着重新启动 Word，就可以像那些教学一样打一些中文或日文汉字，来试试看标记功能：

把要标记的文字选起来，点选上方有一个 abc A 的图示，就是注音标示功能的图示：

出现了！他会提示要标记的文字，可以做一些调整，这里就不做介绍了。没问题就点选 “OK”

回到 Word 编辑，会发现它就一如往常的标记上去啦。

还有很可惜的是，这一定要在这状态底下做，切换回原来的中文语系，他一样给你不支援。
## 我觉得这一定有 Bug
然后根据那位人员的说法，“东亚语言接口预期已经支援这些功能”，但为何明明都已经把语言改成日文了，但就是弄不出标示呀？这真是太奇怪了。
接着如果在现阶段那么麻烦还要改语言，不如直接把 Pages 开启用他的音标功能。
