Due to an administrative error, public posting of this investigation and
ruling was delayed. The team and player were informed of the penalty after
the conclusion of the investigation in May.
Context
On May 2, the Riot-provided practice account used by Jun-cheol “Eve” Seo was
identified by Riot Korea’s Player Support team as using an illegal scripting
program in multiple normal and ranked matchmade games. The account was
immediately suspended, and the Riot Korea office spoke to Eve directly about
the issue. Eve admitted to using the scripting programs and took full
responsibility.
Ruling
Per the Global Penalty Index, using illegal scripts carries a penalty range of
10-20 competitive months. Due to Eve’s cooperation and the short period of
actual script use, we are choosing to punish Eve for the minimum of 10
competitive months. He will be eligible for review on May 13, 2017. The
final date is based the start date of the suspension.

9.2.7 Player Behavior Investigation
If CS or Riot determines that a Team or Team Member has violated the Summoner’s
Code, the LoL Terms of Service, or other rules of LoL, CS officials may assign
penalties at their sole discretion.
