Unicorns!
In 2 weeks, LCS Summer Split 2016 will start again!
A loooot of exciting things to happen and witness : BO2 format, new players,
players switching teams, new meta, a lot of pressure with potential Worlds
tickets at the end... ypeBefore introducing you our new team, let's discuss a bit the past weeks.
After our severe loss 0-3 early April, disqualifying us from playoffs, we had
a lot of talks with the boys.
The roster had a rough season, experiencing 4 differents junglers in 3
months, with more or less success.
We all went back home with a sour taste, and a lot of open questions
regarding our future.
Couple of days later, Steeelback and Fox manifested their will to leave the
organization, feeling they could not achieve anything with our actual 5
members. Maybe that was the wake up call we needed.
We decided from our side to let Loulex go.
With only Vizicsacsi and Hylissang left in the team, the situation was a lot
similar to November 2015.
We have been able to build a full team around them once, why not twice?
Based on our previous experience, we took our time.
We tried and talked to a lot of people, from old players to full rookie.
The mindset is and will always be the same: we want to build a crew of InGame
killers but InRealLife nice-guys.
When you have to live, sleep, eat, play and train all day long with someone
for months, you better pick some non-toxic and hard-working teamates.
LCS is a marathon, not a sprint : you need to win the maximum of 36 games
with the new BO2 format. Everything can happen, and everything will happen.
At the end of the day, this is our job, our passion, and we want to exercise
it with people we like and enjoy to stay around.
It is of course hard to judge in advance what someone can turn into, but we
gave it our best shot.
With those thoughts in mind, here comes our boys :
