Sometimes you need to follow instructions, such as when you are putting
together a child's toy that arrives on the eve before his birthday and you
want to make absolutely sure nothing goes wrong. It's helpful to know exactly
what goes where and how to proceed. But there are other times, Leo, where it
is perfectly fine and even preferable to deviate from the strict plan. You
may now be facing a strict set of guidelines that just don't seem right or
helpful to you. If you have a better way, then by all means, try it. You
might just improve on the status quo.
