今天要来和同学分享口说答题的方式。
我知道对许多没接触过托福的同学而言，要开口说英文、回答题目是一件很
难的事。
大家要记得，口说考的一定是你的声音稳定度，因此大家的第一句话一定要
自信、清楚。这也是为什么我们必须特地将可以用来回答题目的“第一句”
都列出来的原因。
因此，今天想和大家分享的，正是怎么开口说第一句话。
比如，如果有个题目这样问：
Describe an important decision you have made. Why was it important
to you?
遇到这种题目时，你一定觉得有些难回答。
这时，你可以说：
"Well, I think an important decision I have made was the decision
to go abroad."
大家一看到这个题目会觉得回答乍似很难，但其实仔细观察，我们只是把
“题目再念了一遍（An important decision I have made was) 然后再加
上答案而已 （was the decision to go abroad).
大家在这这里可以注意的，是如果有 to，后面的动词一定要呈原形哦！
无论是：
This decision was the decision to go abroad. (这里我们用的是decide
的名词)
还是
I decided to go abroad. (这里我们用decide，动词）
因为 to后面往往接的是“特定的目的”，因此后面的动词一定是原形。
回到口说题目，诸如此类的题目听起来很难，但其实我们只要把答案赶快讲
出来就可以了。
如果同学觉得这种回答方式有些复杂，你甚至可以简化你的答案。
你也可以这样说：
"Well, this would be the decision to go abroad."
"Well, two years ago, I got together with my girlfriend, and that
was a veryimportant decision."
大家有发现吗，其实我们可以用很简单的句型把答案讲出来。
再举一个例子。
如果题目是类似的呢，但问的问题却不太一样，大家会怎么答呢？
题目是：Describe a time that was important to you, and why it was
important.
我会说：Well, this would be the time when I left my family to
study in another city.
这是不重复题目，直接给出答案的方法。
如果你想再听起来有自信一点，你可以加一句：, and THAT was a very
important time in my life.
在讲这一句话时，记得 this would be the time when 的后面一定要加一
个你做过的重要的事，并且要用 S+V 表示。
Well, I think this would be the time when I broke up with my ex.
(S+V)
This would be the time when I was a club leader in the guitar
club. (S+V, 实际上用 This would be the time when I led a club会更
好, 因为态度更强～但在此答案中，我们注意到的是leader, Leader 会让
人直接有 important time, you must havelearned a lot ～的印象，所以
这里的答案是ok的～)
或是你可以说，
When I was a sophomore, I led a guitar club. This was an important
time in my
life.
总之，遇到这类重点为时间的题目，记得要带到"this was the time when
I V. (didsomething...)"
或是可以直接说
"When I was twenty years old (age), I (did this). This was very
important."
（重复题目或题目里的态度）
Last summer, I (did this), which was quite important.
表达时间的方式有很多，如果大家害怕，可以直接带一个特定的时间点，如
此可以让答案的开头更顺畅。
带一些其他的题目来让大家更了解如何开始自己的第一句话：
1. Describe an important lesson you learned in your childhood.
Well, this lesson happened when I was 20.
同学如果不知道如何继续延伸，可以先参考以下的答题句型：
When I was 20, my friend and I had an argument.... So my friend
told me...And because of this experience, I really understood that
it is important to...
2. When you and your friend have a disagreement, what would you do
?
Well, if my friend disagrees to me,
/ Well, if my friend and I have a disagreement, I would first try
to think on
his point of view.
/I would first try to understand his thoughts.
其实我们可以用不同的句型，讲出类似的话～ 所以大家在练习回答时，可
以练习用简单的句子先把答案和态度讲出来。
比如：What do you think about living in Taiwan?
即便很害怕，你还是可以说出：
Well, I think living in Taiwan is good.
然后再慢慢把为什么好讲出来。
It's good because in Taiwan, we can ...(吃很多很棒的食物或有没有什
么很棒的活动可以做？）
最后两题：
Q: Which one do you prefer to learn: play the piano, swim and
repair a car?Why?
Well, I would prefer to learn to repair a car. This is because I
can learn alot of things about cars when I repair a car. For
example...
Q: What food would you suggest the university cafeteria add in
order to attract more people?
Hmm, I would suggest the university to add pizza in the food list
for students! (我刻意省略cafeteria, 因为 cafeteria 同学较不会唸)
Pizza is just so delicious!
