Bass选择跳出player option...
The Los Angeles Lakers will have a number of difficult decisions to make this
summer as they start life without Kobe Bryant but it appears as though one of
the team's veterans has already made the call on what he intends to do going
forward.
According to Chris Haynes of cleveland.com, Lakers veteran reserve Brandon
Bass will decline his 2016-17 player option in order to become an
unrestricted free agent this summer.
Byron Scott made no secret that he was a fan of Bass' game and had publicly
stated that he hoped the former LSU Tigers star would remain with the
franchise going forward despite having the option to test free agency.
With Bass, reportedly, set to hit the open market come Jul. 1, Los Angeles
will have to decide exactly how much they want to spend in order to entice
him to return to the Lakers as the veteran big man should have plenty of
suitors.
